We have new information collected from the Halo 5 Guardians multiplayer beta.
We already know about the return of Midship. You may also remember that the map’s layout has not changed, however, it has received a lot of new visual additions, in the form of holograms. You can actually see a halo ring on the top left, as well as an orange planet on the top right. There are also some holograms in the top middle section of the map, and a solar system. There is even an energy sword, which 343 Industries didn’t show at first reveal, but decided to share with us now.
There is also a still-unexplained part of this map, which is part orange, and is basically enveloped by the blueness of the rest of Midship. If you look close, there also seems to be a Covenant ship peering through the window, although we don’t really see enough of it to know for sure.
Our source also seems to be sharing a lot of images of the map Perdition, although he didn’t quite know its name when he made this video. Perdition is set deep in what is described as an urban sprawl, and is supposed to make you focus on situational awareness and tactical speed.
Lastly, our source shares that his colleagues believe they found in Frederic-104 in some of the new art.
Halo 5 Guardians is coming to Xbox One on December 27. You can see some of the new images in the video below.
