We have new information for you regarding Halo: The Master Chief Collection, including a big one regarding Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer.
As a small recap, 343 Industries revealed in the E3 presentation that additions would include:
· Modernizations
· Weapons
· Weapon Sets
· Lacked mid-range weapon choices
· Magnum tuning
· Vehicles
Now, we have clarification that these weapon sets are not loadouts. They refer to the placement of the weapons in the map. In simple English, weapons will be found at key places in the maps now, and this is something that you will be able to memorize and use to full advantage.
The big announcement regarding Halo 2 Anniversary is that 343 has opted to include both Halo 2 and Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer in the game. Fans who prefer Halo 2’s OG multiplayer get to choose.
We also found out about a new vehicle, the Gungoose, and based on new screenshots, it seems that this vehicle has SMG’s mounted in front of it. 343 is also adding a new Gungoose-only Capture The Flag mode, which they promise to be a lot of fun, especially on the map Coagulation.
It’s amazing that 343 opted to keep both Halo 2’s andHalo 2 Anniversary’s multiplayer. It’s a sign that they were paying attention to what fans wanted, and hopefully, we see this manifest in other parts of the collection as well.
