The developers at IO Interactive have posted the first concept from their upcoming Hitman game, which they’ll not be bringing to E3 this year as they intend to keep it under wraps for “a bit longer.” According to the studio, they are focusing all of their time and efforts into “creating the best possible Hitman game.”
“That’s our number one priority and we don’t want to divert valuable resources to show something before it’s ready,” they wrote.
Fortunately, the good news is that they’ve made great progress on the title with building exotic and expansive locations for the new game.
To give you an idea of what they’re working on, they’ve published the first piece of concept art from the game, which is set in Central Europe. According to IO Interactive, you’ll be able to explore the entire building you see in the image, inside and out. For a sense of scale, the building on its own is larger than any location in Hitman Absolution.
The studio intends to release more details to share with players as they move through the year, so we’ll be keeping you updated with more Hitman details as they become available.
