EA Sports has released a new trailer for EA Sports UFC ahead of the game’s release, showcasing for the first time the game’s career mode, which allows players to create a character and stick with him for as long as they please, building up his reputation and career in the process.
On display in the video is the game’s character creation system, which allows players to use their own faces on the fighters in the game using a system called Game Face. It’ll be possible, for example, to use the face of Sylvester Stallone on a fighter to essentially implement Rocky Balboa into the game. Unfortunately, players will not be able to share the fighters they create due to licensing issues.

EA Sports intends to replicate the success of Fight Night Round 3 with EA Sports UFC, and it’s clear that they’re going to be able to do just that with the upcoming game.
As we previously reported, the game will see the release of a demo for players who want to test drive the game without giving it some of their hard earned cash.
EA Sports UFC will be released on June 17 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is strictly a next-gen title.
