The Legend of Zelda series may or may not be making it onto the Wii U in a new title this year. Japanese magazine Famitsu tried to get the scoop from Nintendo, but the publisher refused to comment on whether such a game would be showing up at this year’s E3 in June.
According to NintendoEnthusiast, the Japanese magazine shared details about several rumors currently making the rounds in Japan, one of which was the possibility of a new Zelda title for the Wii U.

Famitsu’s Plausibility: 40%
Given the lack of a confirmation and all other available information combined, Famitsu pegged the rumor with a plausibility rating of just 40%. If they think it’s unlikely that a new Zelda game will be announced, there’s no reason to believe Nintendo will surprise us with such a title—although we can certainly keep our fingers crossed.
