It’ll take forever and a day for Minecraft on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to catch up with its counterpart on the PC/Mac/Linux, but that isn’t stopping 4J Studios, which has the unenviable task of porting the game from trying to do just that.
Today, 4J Studios posted on their Twitter account about Title Update 14 (TU14), after being queried by the game’s many fans about its release.
“Lots of people asking about TU14!” wrote 4J Studios. “We're busy finalising the content, and bug fixing. A few weeks to go before it's ready for Cert testing.”
Cert testing, for those not in the know, is when Microsoft gets their hands on the code and tests it for certification before releasing it to the public. With any luck, they’ll be ready within a month.
Earlier this month 4Jstudios had posted an image showing the TU14 in devlopment at their studios and a few days ago they revealed the new UI along with the info that they are busy working on creative interface, and the new Trading & Anvil interfaces.
