Known for its epic player battles and stories of intrigue, EVE Online is ripe for adaptation into graphic novel form, and CCP and Dark Horse Comics have done just that with the release of issue #1 of their EVE: True Stories graphic novel series. The series aims to adapt real battles and events within EVE Online into comic book format.
The first issue, titled “Thieves Among Us”, chronicles the events that lead up to the fall of the Band of Brothers player alliance, which was brought down by the actions of a single player who betrayed his comrades.
The adaptation has been penned by Deadpool writer Daniel Way and features the artwork of Tomm Coker of Daredevil Noir and Near Death.
The first issue of EVE: True Stories is available for download on iOS and Android through Dark Horse Digital.
