Easily one of the most anticipated video game titles coming out in 2020 is CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. The development studio got their fame after the successful trilogy release of The Witcher and while the studio has made a leap from the high fantasy world for a new futuristic setting with Cyberpunk 2077, one thing they will retain is the amount of content and extra goods they deliver for fans enjoyment. Today we’re finding out that every copy of Cyberpunk 2077 will feature free digital content.
It looks like CD Projekt Red is not making these digital goods a pre-order only special nor do you have to obtain a special edition of the game. Instead, it looks like everyone will gain access to five items in particular with a copy of a game. Those include the original score, art booklet, the Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebook, wallpapers, and a digital comic called Cyberpunk 2077: Your Voice!
These are some goodies for those that really want to dive into the world of Cyberpunk 2077. In particular, there could be some interest in the Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebook. If you’re unaware, Cyberpunk 2077 is based on a tabletop game and this sourcebook will offer some supplementary material regarding the game and lore. Furthermore, we’re sure the comic book will also help fill some background details regarding various areas and characters you’ll meet along the way.
For now, Cyberpunk 2077 is still slated for a release this year. Despite having a release date set for September of this year, the development studio opted to delay the game. This was all due to allow the team more time to polish the game for its new release date of November 19, 2020, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
