Looking for a new way to live out your fantasy and fly the legendary X-Wing? Today, Disney Interactive has revealed the first details of the upcoming free-to-play title, Star Wars: Attack Squadrons, and anyone who’s fallen in love with the many spacecraft featured in the mega-franchise might want to pay attention to this multiplayer experience.
The above trailer really doesn’t say too much about this open web, space combat game, but we do know that it features multiplayer battles where players can customize and tune popular Star Wars ships. That means you’ll have the option of flying your own Rebel Alliance X-Wing fighter, or even the Empire’s TIE Interceptor. This is all about the dog-fighting action you’ve always wanted from a Star Wars game, with up to 16 players at a time battling in the classic movie locations. Information on the full list of ships and settings is sparse at this time, but expect to hear more from Disney in the coming weeks.
