Red Dead Redemption 2 released back in October of last year. Set as a prequel to the highly acclaimed Red Dead Redemption video game, players are once again tossed back into the wild west as they embark on a journey to escape from the law. Rockstar Games brought the game out with a variety of improvements over its predecessor with a large map, more interactive moments littered throughout and of course an online game mode, much like Grand Theft Auto Online.
It’s been speculated and rumored for a long time now that Red Dead Redemption 2 would see a release on the PC platform. Now we can officially confirm that the game will be releasing next month on pretty much all digital marketplaces outside of Steam which will receive the game in December. This PC release is also just a little over a year after the original launch, which was also the case for Grand Theft Auto V when it came to the release for current-generation consoles.
While we’ve been waiting for the release for a good while now, Rockstar Games is offering a little more incentive for PC players to try the game out. Not only will it come with improvements over the console platform releases but there will be new bounties, weapons, and gang hideouts. Furthermore, if you pre-purchase the game through Rockstar’s PC client then you’ll be able to select two free video game titles to enjoy as well such as previously released Grand Theft Auto games to Bully, L.A. Noire and even Max Payne 3.
Currently, Red Dead Redemption 2 is confirmed to release on November 5, 2019, for the PC platform, but again, it has been available since last year for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
