When it comes to the Batman franchise, we’ve seen a ton of video game titles both this past generation of platforms along with the currently available systems. If one thing is for sure, the fact that there is so many Batman featured video game titles released into the market is a good indicator that fans thoroughly enjoy playing the caped crusader. Unfortunately, nothing is official, but it does appear that something is in the works featuring a couple of key members behind Batman: Arkham Origins.
It all started off with Roger Craig Smith, who is a voice actor that portrayed a number of roles such as the Dark Knight in Batman: Arkham Origins. He took to Twitter recently to alert his fans that he is in the works of something that he can’t freely talk about at the moment. It’s believed to be a video game and to add some fuel to the fire Ryan Galletta reached out on Twitter to more or less confirm his involvement. If you don’t recognize the name, Ryan was the writer behind Batman: Arkham Origins.
That didn’t end there either as another comment by Gary Miereanu, a publicist from Warner Bros. Decided to chime in as well. There’s potential that we could be seeing a new Batman video game released into the market, but again, nothing official has been confirmed. With that said, news should be unveiled relatively soon so we’re of course keeping our eyes opened for anything announced in the near future.
Likewise, because this may not be a Batman-related video game title, what other property from Warner Bros catalog would you like to see tackled next? There’s been a big push of superhero video game titles being released into the market. Perhaps we could see something that will compete against Marvel’s Spider-Man and the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers.
