You’re sitting at home. You’re playing this year’s Madden 25, enjoying the improved physics engine, better player movement, and heavier hits. Sure, it’s likely the most complete football experience you’ve ever seen on a console, but there’s something in the back of your head telling you that there’s something bigger – and possibly even better – right over the horizon. That “something bigger,” dear readers and sports fans, is the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of one of EA Sports’ biggest blockbusters, and those who tune into this week’s edition of Monday Night Football will be able to experience just what these graphically updated versions will look like.
The EA Sports page on Facebook has just released a short teaser for the event, showing Minnesota Vikings superstar, Adrian Peterson, making his way across the field one giant leap at a time. The feature set and core gameplay will be just about identical across generations, but one of the most fun things to watch for each and every year is how far the developers can push the graphics. As you’d guess, this is the best looking Madden to ever be released.
The current-generation versions of the game haven’t quite lived up to EA’s sales standards, and that’s caused the company’s stocks to take a dip. However, the wave of excitement that’s surrounding the launch of new hardware should give this football franchise a boost, and with so many people tuning in during the game on Monday, expect Madden 25 to get its second wind.
