Batman's armor hasn't always been the elegant, if tight-fitting costume worn by the likes of Christian Bale and his video game counterparts. Batman's seen worse days, especially in the form of the Knightfall costume and of the classic TV series Batman.
Players will get to dress up the dark knight in these humiliating, if cool-by-being-iconic-and-not-because-they're-actually-stylish costumes in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins, which will see the release of a PlayStation-exclusive Knightfall pack. Goofy they may be, but at least they don't have nipples on them.
In addition to the costumes, the pack will also come with three bonus Combat Maps and two Predator Maps for Batman to hone his skills in.
Here’s what the press release says: “You’ll fight Bane, Venom users, and Blackgate prisoners in a crime-ridden Gotham City, where Bane’s forces have seized control of several key locations where only Batman can stop them. Fight your way through three combat maps, stealth across two predator maps, and push yourself to the breaking point in a new challenge campaign.”
Batman: Arkham Origins is set for a worldwide release on October 25 for for PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360.
