343 Industries New Program Offers Gamers Early Testing For Upcoming Halo Titles

March 18, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

343 Industries needs you!

Halo is a massive franchise and needless to say, both development studio 343 Industries along with Microsoft are looking to bring out each new installment a bit seamless with as few problems as possible. One way to ensure this is by offering a means for gamers to test out new features to even full games early before they launch for general public use. Previously, 343 Industries offered a means to do this with the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, but it looks like they are making some changes. Instead of having an exclusive program that directly only links to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the development studio is opening it up for all future Halo releases.

We know that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently being brought over to the PC platform. Likewise, the next major installment, Halo: Infinite is being developed but for now the focus is once again put back on the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Known as the Halo Inside Program, gamers can request access to test out upcoming Halo games and features before they rollout. Those who were already part of the previous program that specifically tested out Halo: The Master Chief Collection will need to fill out the survey information once again for the development studio.

Join us on the journey to bring Halo: The Master Chief Collection to PC! The Halo Insider Program is the new way you can partner with us to help improve our games via feedback and hands-on public flighting. Learn more and sign up today! https://t.co/KDrRsbUMWA pic.twitter.com/a7yRdXRqds

343 Industries will ask a variety of questions such as your PC specifications along with your history with the Halo franchise. If selected, players will become testers who will get to try the game out and see if they run into any problems that would cause any problems for other gamers. Of course, there’s quite a few variables that go into this process of selecting players and it all depends on what they testing. For instance you may find the studio seek out a variety of PC components to gamers in a specific location.

As you can guess there is a NDA involved so if you are selected you may have to agree not to share gameplay footage or reveal any specifics. Those that are looking to join in throw their name into the Halo Insider Program can do so right here.
