There are definitely some highly anticipated video game titles that players have been waiting to view for the very first time. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was unveiled to be an upcoming video game title from Respawn Entertainment but what we never got was an actual trailer or teaser reveal. Instead, we got a brief small explanation from Respawn Entertainment as to what the game would be about during E3 2018. This may have been a letdown for some gamers, but not it looks like this game will finally have some actual footage shown off from the development team in a few months. This reveal came from a recent earnings call from EA where COO and CFO Blake Jorgensen brought up the game.
EA may not be having the best of luck with the Star Wars license at the moment but there may be some hope with Respawn Entertainment. The development team has been working on an adventure video game for players which follow after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, a period in which the Jedi are being hunted down ruthlessly. Players will be going into this narrative adventure this year, but again, we haven’t actually seen anything in regards to the game. That will hopefully change soon as Blake Jorgensen talked of his time playing the game from the development team and conveyed his enjoyment of being in the world.
Apparently, according to Blake, this is an extremely polished and deep living Star Wars world that will hopefully prove to be a massive hit when it actually releases. Unfortunately, we don’t have any date as to when the game will finally get its reveal where the developers can show off their hard work. Instead, the Electronic Arts COO and CFO simply stated that it will hopefully be revealed in some capacity within the next few months. For instance, we’re sure that this will be a game focused heavily during E3 2019 which will line up with EA’s potential timeline of when this game will actually get footage out into the public.
Currently, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be released sometime this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
