The keynote has came to an end. During the event we got the first ever glimpse into Doom Eternal’s gameplay. As expected, the game will be filled with demons to slaughter both old and new. Likewise, our protagonist has a new arsenal of weapons to use against his foes. We’ll update the video to showcase strictly Doom Eternal when footage becomes available.

Doom has been a staple video game franchise for years and in 2016 the game had a proper reboot. The reception was overwhelmingly positive which led developers to continue on with a sequel, Doom Eternal.
There have been very few details released so far for Doom Eternal as we only got a small teaser for the game at Bethesda’s E3 2018 press conference. However, the big reveal for the gameplay is set to take place today. During this years QuakeCon event, we are set to receive new details regarding the game such as actual gameplay footage. At 12 p.m. est, the gameplay event will take place where you can watch it unfold live in the video posted above.
Afterward, we will replace the feed with the standard video upload when available. We’re curious as to if the event will showcase just when Doom Eternal will launch into the marketplace. Likewise, it will be interesting to see if there are any new gameplay mechanics shown off along with hostile enemies you may encounter. Additionally, having a bit more information on the story narrative would also be welcomed, but being a Doom game we’re not expecting the most in-depth narrative story ever told.
