Agony, the terrifying upcoming FPS from Madmind studios has officially been confirmed to take around 12hrs to complete. Additional content, however, will spike up the competition time (duh.)
Taking to Twitter, the developer teased that “the main campaign is not the only thing waiting for you in Agony.” No further details are forthcoming at the present time, though the team also teased that further announcements will be made later this week.
Following a small delay, the team announced that the FPS will arrive on PC, PS4 and Xbox One May 29th.
The player takes control of an unknown character who is thrown into hell. Without any memory of his/her past and the possession of a special ability which allows you to take control of other simple-minded characters, you have to navigate hell to find a way out.
You will begin your journey as a tormented soul within the depths of hell, without any memories about your past.
The special ability to control people on your path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives you the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions you are in.
By exploring the hostile environment and interacting with other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require meeting the mystical Red Goddess.
Agony releases on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, May 29th.
