The last couple of weeks have been filled with some exciting announcements, from the grand unveiling of Mario Kart Tour and God of War‘s release date, to the release of hotly anticipated titles like Monster Hunter: World and the imminent launch of the Shadow of the Colossus remake. Do you feel so absolutely, thoroughly spoiled you can’t possibly take any more brilliant news? Well I’m sorry to disappoint, but things are about to get even better.
After a few false starts and apologetic delays, Rockstar Games has officially come out with Red Dead Redemption 2‘s release date. It is now expected to launch on October 26 2018, so make sure you jot down the date somewhere important.
Rockstar said it “hoped to have the game out sooner” but needed to push back the launch so the Western action-adventure extravaganza is adequately polished. Patience is the price we must pay for true excellence. Although, Rockstar was gracious enough to dispatch seven additional in-game screenshots we can feast our eyes on right away, and they definitely look ripe for analysis.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
