Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is coming to the PS Vita later this year, according to a post on PlayStation's UK blog.
The game will utilize many of the Vita's touchscreen features, including front touch for greater painting accuracy, tilt controls for racing, and a two-player wi-fi coop mode exclusive to the handheld.
So far, there is no word on whether or not this news also applies to the United States or other countries, as the announcement is only available on the UK blog, and on Disney UK's Twitter.
There were no other details announced besides the initial announcement, although there will be more details unveiled including a release date and pre-order details.
It's interesting that Disney would choose to expand the release of the game, especially considering that it was a flop. According to Eurogamer, the game only sold 529,000 copies across all platforms in 2012.
Junction Point Studios, the company behind the Epic Mickey series, also shut its doors back in January after the poor numbers came in, so there is speculation as to who will be doing the port.
