Sony has announced a new program, issuing rewards to trophy hunters on the Playstation 4 console. It’s not an easy way to unlock discounts though — you’ll need 1,000 points for a $10 discount voucher, and it takes a whole lot of trophies to earn 1,000 points. One Platinum trophy, 25 Gold trophies, or 100 Silver trophies is worth 100 points — or the equivalent of $1. That’s a whole lot of trophies to grind.
If you’re an insane person, this system might actually work to your advantage. Whether you want to impress friends or just bolster your Platinum trophy collection, there are lots of games on the PS4 with Platinums that are totally easy to unlock. They all take time, and if you’ve already earned these Platinums, you won’t get any points — only trophies earned after signing up for Sony’s new program count towards your total.
Many of these games are available for free if you’re a Playstation Plus subscriber. If you’ve got 10 hours to spare and a few free games, you can earn yourself a couple extra bucks.
The Easiest Games to Platinum on the PS4
Before diving into the list of games, it’s important to know how this new rewards system works.
- The Sony Rewards program offers rewards for Trophies earned after signing up for the program. Any trophies you’ve already earned don’t count, and will not accrue rewards.
- You’ll need to link your account to the Rewards program. If you don’t link your account, you won’t earn any rewards for trophies unlocked.
- Sign-up for different service trials to earn 15% discount codes and other rewards.
And that’s it! Now, let’s move onto the main course. Here are the easiest games to earn Platinum (currently) on the PS4.

You’ll have to look up guides for yourself to completely Platinum most of these games, but they’re all extremely simple, with almost no challenge — most of them simply require a few playthroughs to see all the content, then you’re gold. While earning Platinum, you’ll also get tons of Silver and Gold trophies too — who knows, it might add up.
