Minecraft is hugely popular, not just on the PC, but also on the Xbox 360. The studio in charge of porting the game 4J Studios, has been diligent in bringing the updates made for the PC version to the console. The studio has today announced the contents of update 8 for Minecraft.
According to the studio, which posted the updates on Twitter, the upcoming patch will address a variety of bugs, including the inability to sleep. Due to the bug, players found themselves unable to sleep in beds as they’d be told by the game that monsters were nearby, despite there being an absence of monsters.
Other bug fixes include making it so that baby wolves are born tame, and a fix to the ‘kick player’ bug. Additionally, the update will also add a Nether Fortress to the world of every game.
Additionally, 4J announced that the 9th update for the game will include iron golems, ocelots, climbable vines, spawn eggs, and texture packs. It goes without saying that update 8 is designed mainly to fix bugs over the addition of new content.
