Some new concept artwork and screenshots have surfaced of Namco Bandai's Project Versus J, a fighting game with characters from Shonen Jump (hence the J in the title). The characters portrayed in the artwork include Goku from Dragon Ball, Luffy from One Piece, and Toriko.
The three characters were previously teased in a silhouette hinting at a reveal on the 17th. Well, it's the 17th in Japan today, so Namco's made good on its word and released a host of pictures depicting all three characters in various stages of battle. They've also put out an official banner for the game, which you can see below.
In addition to the artwork, which appears to be of the characters as they appear within the game itself, Namco Bandai has also released two screenshots of the game, which is set for a Japanese release next year. There's no word on when the game will come out Internationally, but it's certainly expected to, given the popularity of the Naruto fighting games.
It's expected to see release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. There's no word on whether they have any plans to put it out for the Wii U.
