Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Showcases New Level Comparison

May 4, 2017 by Dennis Patrick

Check out the Un-Bearable level comparison.

Crash is back on the PlayStation 4 this June 30, 2017, with a remastered collection known as Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. The video game collection wasn’t developed by the original creators of the beloved franchise, Naughty Dog, but instead developed by Vicarious Visions.

Vicarious Visions has been in the development business for nearly three decades. Established back in 1990, the development studio subsidiary of Activision has developed a number of titles, though, for the most part, they tend to develop video games for mobile devices.

Their latest upcoming release is Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy which is a remastered collection of the first three titles in the Crash Bandicoot series: Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

All three were developed by Naughty Dog and released for the original PlayStation console, but with this newly remastered collection, it seems that the developers over at Vicarious Visions have kept the gameplay mechanics intact while offering a visual overhaul.

In order to showcase the video game and how far the visuals have come, Activision has released gameplay trailers that oftentimes play out as a comparison to the original title. Today, a new trailer was released that compares the remastered level Un-Bearable from Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back.

This trailer shows that the game development has come a long way when compared to its original counterpart. Regardless, take a look at the new trailer comparison posted above.

As for when gamers can purchase a copy of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, the title is set to launch on June 30, 2017, for the PlayStation 4 platform.
