Are you one of the people who equate a game's value to how fast it can be finished? If so, are you wondering how long it will take for you to finish Hitman: Absolution?
In an interview with VG247, Hitman: Absolution art director Roberto Marchesi divulged that it will take players seven to eight hours to finish the game. But that's if you go in guns blazing and know exactly what you're doing.
That’s a really impossible question to answer. Because the game is so scalable. I dunno how you’re going to approach it. If you just go in guns blazing, which is, in theory, the fastest way to finish – it could take up to seven, eight hours still. If you knew exactly what you were doing – and that takes time to master – it’s much faster anyway. The game is way too scalable. I think most people will have many hours in there, many more than they actually imagined.
Of course, any Hitman player worth their salt knows that the "proper" way to play it is to hide in the shadows and take out your enemies silently.
Speaking of a game's length, I get that some people want it to be a substantial amount to validate their puchase, but what I don't get is those players who try and finish a game as fast as possible. Seriously, where's the fun in that?
Do you think Hitman: Absolution's length will be good enough if you play it the proper way or it doesn't really matter as long as the experience's good?
