The Nintendo Switch launched back in March of this year and today the system received a brand new update. This latest update will bring the console up to version 2.2.0, though it’s becoming a mystery as to just what all it fixes.
Nintendo is pretty notorious when it comes to revealing just what their patches and updates actually brings to the table for video games or their consoles. For instance, when The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild receives a new update, Nintendo describes the patch as adjustments made to make a more pleasant gaming experience. Of course, these patches are quickly discovered online and alerted to gamers as to what Nintendo actually patched.
This normally leaves gamers exploring to see just what has changed with their video game titles, though now the hunt is aimed more towards the Nintendo Switch console. Unfortunately, there are no real updates within the online community that shows just what has changed.
Currently, if you log into the Nintendo Switch, your system may have already automatically updated the Switch to 2.2.0.
For those who may not have the console connected online then you can manually start the update if needed. You’ll find that the update which is described as the following.
“General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.”
Are there any potential features you wish were tweaked by Nintendo? Perhaps this latest update may have solved some past issues you were having on the console, though only time will tell right now.
