There’s plenty of excited gamers eagerly waiting for more details regarding Rockstar Games Red Dead Redemption 2. The video game franchise really picked up with Red Dead Redemption and while we only have one announcement trailer for the game, a new rumored leak has emerged online suggesting when the game will officially release.
According to a report made by This Gen Gaming, a UK retailer known as Base may have accidentally posted the release date for Red Dead Redemption 2. The supposed leak states that the game will be released on September 26, 2017, in the UK.
Unfortunately, the image showcased is for the Xbox One version of the game and while we know that Red Dead Redemption 2 will also see a release on the PlayStation 4, PC gamers are crossing their fingers that Rockstar Games won’t forget about them again.
Oddly enough, the original Red Dead Redemption video game title never saw an official release on the PC platform, making gamers on the PC platform hope that the sequel will not receive the same treatment.
For now, we’ll have to label this leak as a rumor as it could potentially be a placeholder date. Perhaps during E3 of this year, we’ll finally know a bit more about the game such as its premise, what new features will be included, a potential PC platform release, along with a launch date.
