Minecraft Sales Keep Up The Pace

February 28, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

122 million copies sold worldwide.

Minecraft, the massive sandbox game has now reached another milestone.

Microsoft announce via Twitter that Minecraft had now sold 122 million copies across all gaming platforms, and has been experienced by 55 million unique players letting their imaginations run wild in the sandbox-style world.

This is massive increase from the last sales report, which gave an account of 107 million copies in June. Which means that a whopping 15 million copies have since been sold.

As reported by Polygon, these impressive figures do not include the free copies of Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition that was given to owners of the original Java-based PC/Mac version of the game.

Minecraft is currently available on most every platform.
