January 5, 2017 by Kris Kittie

Bioware doesn’t seem to be revealing much more than that.

BioWare has officially confirmed the release date of Mass Effect Andromeda for March 21st 2017. General Manager Aaryn Flynn recently responded to a fan on Twitter who asked him when he and others should expect to hear any information regarding Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer. The Bioware GM did not provide any additional details about the gameplay feature aside from “soon.”

Fans have been informed that the multiplayer will connect to the campaign in some capacity, but Bioware hasn’t fully explained how it will work. Furthermore the studio has already confirmed that it will be following along with the current trend in online gaming revenue, meaning the multiplayer will feature microtransactions.

Flynn, the Bioware GM has offered up a window as to when fans should be able to hear moreabout the game’s PC requirements. Flynn stated in a tweet, the specs for the PC platform should be revealed, “Probably closer to launch. Sometime in the February I think.”

As the days and weeks get closer to the launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda, Bioware will likely begin to fill in all of the details about the game that it had previously withheld from fans in order to retain an air of anticipation for the title.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is is scheduled to release on March 21, 2017 in North America, and on March 23, 2017 in Europe for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
