With an RRP of $19.99, the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic bundle is an awful lot of value for money, so long as you don't focus on how cheap the first game has been multiple times on Steam. Still, if you want a budget way of playing arguably the best Star Wars games on the market (or just want to see the roots of the Mass Effect series), you could do a lot worse than this new, currently unconfirmed bundle.
If this turns out to be true, you can pick up the bundle at the end of July. The odd thing here, and the thing most people in the source seem to be confused about, is that they're releasing a bundle at all. They could just re-release both games digitally, but this is an actual physical 2-disk bundle. In this economy, that's a big move for games that came out so long ago and, presumably, have no changes over their original releases.
On the flip-side of that, perhaps LucasArts have pulled a GOG.com and have made it so these run problem free (or at least no worse than they did originally) on modern PCs. And maybe a renewed piece of popularity might see release on PS3/360.
