With the announcement of digital entries in the Forza and Fable franchises, I presumed it was only a matter of time before other massive Microsoft games got the same treatment. With the discovery that Microsoft have registered a series of domains related to a mysterious "Halo Infinity," perhaps that's coming a little sooner than previously expected.
Microsoft have registered at least 11 domains based on variations of "Halo Infinity" and "Halo Infinity Multiplayer" over the last week. They may also have registered the domain "MoreThanJustAMap.com." Whether this does turn out to be a digital entry in the series has yet to be seen, but given Microsoft's recent history, presumably a short-term reaction to people complaining about their lack of exclusives, it wouldn't entirely be a surprise.
At this point, all I can say is watch this space, but with that many domains registered around a single title, it's only a matter of time before this one comes out in the open.
