GameReactor Sweden has posted a rumor that The Order 1886 is only three hours long.
This was posted on the Swedish version of the GameReactor site by writer Petter. Apparently, Petter talked to the EIC of a Dutch gaming magazine who he is personal friends with. They were talking casually that he was able to play through the game and he dropped the bombshell.
Petter’s friend claims that this is the reason the review version is being sent out late to the press worldwide.
Ready at Dawn’s CTO and cofounder Andrea Pessino already addressed rumors similar to this one, flatly denying that the game would only last 5 hours only a few days before.
At this point, of course, it is not possible to confirm whether the rumor is true or not, but we won’t have long to wait to find out. The Order 1886 will be released exclusively to the PlayStation 4 on February 20.
What do you make of this rumor? Will you hold out on buying the game with this rumor spreading around, or are you holding on to your preorder? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.

Ouch! Really hope this is not true. I talked to a competitor for a couple of weeks ago, a Dutch gaming magazine whose editor in chief I have been on the move along with a couple of times (very nice guy). We talked a bit of everything when he suddenly poured out that he just played through The Order 1886 and in detail knew why the review version will be sent out late to the overall world press (we still have not seen any sign of it). "The Order 1886 is approximately three hours long". I almost lost my breath. Shorter than the shortest of the Call of Duty single-player campaigns? Of course it would really not good, at all. Of course, this is not confirmed, may well only prove to be an evil reputation, but that's what we've heard from insiders people.
