Aksys Games has released some very appealing collector's sets for Arc System Works' fighting titles in the past, and the latest Guilty Gear is no exception. Unfortunately, the Limited Edition of Guilty Gear Xrd will not make its scheduled launch on December 16, due to strikes at the Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach holding up supply of peces of the set. The due date has been pushed back by at least a week, although it may arrive as late as the day before New Year's Eve.
What's in the Limited Edition, anyway? Aside from the game, you'll get the Guilty Gear Codex art book, a 10-track album of vocal arrangements from the soundtrack, and a keychain of Sol Badguy's belt buckle, all packed inside a box that resembles the "Backyard," an important relic in the Guilty Gear universe. It'll be available in both PS4 and PS3 varieties.
If you can't wait to take Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- for a spin, the standalone game is still on track for both platforms on December 16.
