The biggest hardware mover in the launch months of the Nintendo 3DS was definitely The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. But for many fans, the update to the award-winning N64 classic merely sparked a desire for a remake of the other N64 Zelda, Majora's Mask. A twisted, character-driven tale, Majora's Mask was unlike any other Zelda before or since, so it's easy to see why gamers want to revisit it. It doesn't help that we keep finding clues towards a potential 3DS Majora's Mask everywhere we look.
GBAtemp message board user Team Fail may have the biggest piece of evidence yet. An employee at a Canadian Target store, Team Fail discovered a spot on the software shelf for "3DS ZELSA MSK" — or "3DS THE LEGND OF ZELDA: M.M" — so unless Nintendo is planning on releasing a different Zelda in the near future whose subtitle initials are "M.M," this can only mean that Majora's Mask is coming to the 3DS.
This could simply be a huge mistake on Target's part, but with all the rumors we've heard thus far, there's no reason to believe there isn't some merit to this listing. Now that it's out in the open, Nintendo may have to clear the air once and for all.
