Poke-battlers, beware! The next two Pokemon X & Y online competitions are right around the corner. Battle of Legends and Super Speed Double Battle will test you skills at two-on-two fights, and all participants will be gifted 1000 Poke Miles, which can be used to purchase items or to have fun in the PokeMileage Club.
Sign-ups for Battle of Legends run through July 24, and the competition will last from July 25 to 27. You will pick four Pokemon to engage in Double Battles, and all of them will automatically be raised to Lv. 100 for the duration of the event. The "Legends" in the competition name indicates that Legendary Pokemon are allowed, but you will only be allowed to register two. The only critter banned from entering is Diancie.
Sign-ups for Super Speed Double Battle begin on July 31 and end on August 7, with the competition running from August 8 to 10. Only three Pokemon can enter battle this time, and they'll all be set to Lv. 50 for the event. Unlike Battle of Legends, you won't be able to see which creatures your opponent picked before the fight begins. Also, pretty much all Legendaries are banned.
