Gearbox has earned plenty of goodwill from the PC gaming crowd since its release of Borderlands 2 late last year. Thoroughly developed for the PC, the game offered plenty of customization options for various hardware set ups, even going so far as to include an FOV slider for players to tweak their displays to their heart’s content.
Today, the studio announced the system requirements for its next game, Aliens: Colonial Marines, an FPS for the PC and consoles. The game’s specs allow it to stand as a relatively accessible game for PC gamers with minimum requirements that aren’t too steep, and recommended specs that put it in line with medium-range hardware. If you’re looking forward to Colonial Marines, you won’t have a long wait ahead of you, as the game is set for release on February 12. Given the company’s reputation for building good PC games, I already know what system I’ll be getting it on.
