Giant Sparrow’s latest title, What Remains of Edith Finch, will be coming to Xbox later this month.
The recently released critically acclaimed title launched on the PS4 and PC back in May.The game is compiled of small short stories of the Finch family, where players will experience one of the unique game level designs in recent times.
Check out the new announcement trailer and official description of the game, down below:
What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of playable short stories about a cursed family in Washington State. You play as Edith, who tries to figure out why she is the last one in her family alive upon coming back to the house she grew up in. As you explore the house, you’ll find stories about each family member with its own unique gameplay and each ending with the death of that family member. It’s a game that touches on a lot of subjects: death, family, stories and what we leave behind, but more than anything it’s a game about the unknown, about exploring something with no idea of what you’re going to find. This makes the game a little hard to describe because the more I tell you about it, the less it’s going to surprise you.
We recently went hands on with the game and thought it was pretty good. If you don’t mind walking simulators and are in the mood to experience some of the most compelling level designs, this game is for you. Read our full impressions of the game, right here.
What Remains of Edith Finch comes to Xbox One on July 19.
