You may have already missed out on your chance to get a Nintendo Switch from the second shipment of units. It was announced previously that retailers GameStop would be receiving and placing their second shipment of Nintendo Switch units on March 22, 2017, however, according to reports online, some select retailers have already started to sell their units.
Apparently, each GameStop store location received a total of ten units which is still relatively limited for certain areas. If you’re within a highly populated area then you may have already missed out on the opportunity to pick up a Nintendo Switch for yourself.
This could be a real bummer as that may require some gamers to hunt for a unit around their area or simply wait until the next shipment of units to arrive.
If you have your heart set on the Nintendo Switch then you can save on the console by parting away with your previous consoles. GameStop is holding a new promotion at their retail locations in which the retailer will give $125 credit for a Wii U or a Nintendo 3DS.
That particular credit deal is available to only GameStop Pro members while those who are not a Pro member will only receive $100 credit towards the purchase of a Nintendo Switch. This may be a decent deal if you’re through with the past console and plan on using the Nintendo Switch over the Nintendo 3DS.
For now, you’ll have to check with your local GameStop retailers to see if they still have the Nintendo Switch consoles in stock.
