Medal of Honor Warfighter’s Latest Trailer is an Awareness Test, Doesn’t Make Much Sense

October 11, 2012 by Alex Co

EA has released another trailer for Medal of Honor Warfighter and this one focus on football?! Yep, read on to find out.

With Medal of Honor Warfighter's release just being two weeks away, EA seems to be going in hyperdrive when it comes to the game's marketing.

In its latest ad, EA has plucked Aston Villa footballer Darren Bent for a little "awareness test." If you're wondering what Medal of Honor Warfighter has to do with football, watch the trailer to see the vague connection.

Judging from the YouTube comments, I'm not the only one baffled by this. So, does this mean me not noticing the things in the background make me unfit to play or buy the game?

Whatever the case is, I suggest watching the real ads and gameplay clips scattered throughout various video channels to find out if the game is right for you. There's also a beta for Xbox 360 users that will end on the 15th, which, I imagine, might be a better argument as an ad for the game than this ever will.

Are you picking up Medal of Honor Warfighter when it's released on October 23 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3?
