God of War fans, if you're itching to get a taste of Kratos' new adventure, you can do so at a price…and that's buying the Total Recall reboot in Blu-ray.
Sony has announced that for a limited time, the Total Recall Director's Cut will come bundled with the E3 2012 God of War: Ascension single-player demo. Currently, there's no word if this demo will be available for PS+ members or through other means. So if you really want to play the version they demoed at E3, you will need to pony up for the Colin Farrel flick.
The demo itself will be accessible on the Blu-ray hybrid disc. So at least you won't need to download anything, no?
Total Recall will be released on Blu-ray on December 18, and the demo will be exclusive to it until January 8, 2013. Again, no mention of it being available anywhere else after this date, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a PS+ perk.
Is the demo enough to make you buy the Blu-ray of a mediocre reboot? I'll leave that question up to you to answer.
God of War: Ascenson is set for release in March, 2013 for the PS3.
