Paradox forms franchise team for War of the Roses

October 4, 2012 by Julie Horup

Gordon Van Dyke will lead permanent team.

War of the Roses launched just two days ago, but apparently it's already a massive success since Paradox Interactive has announced plans to form a permanent franchise team for the game.

The team will be led by Gordon Van Dyke, who's served as an executive producer on the game.

“There is no doubt that War of the Roses has been an ambitious project for us,” said Gordon Van Dyke. “The game’s reception from players has exceeded expectations and we are truly grateful for the continued support from the community. We’ll continue to improve the game and add substantial content for all players.”

Meanwhile Paradox also announced a screenshot contest on Facebook. Two winners will receive a private 32-player server for three months and five copies of the game to be distributed among friends (or kept for yourself, if you're that kind of person) while 10 lucky submitters will receive a single copy of the game.
