Kotaku's own Chris Person created a video that captures some of the insanity that is Resident Evil 6.
You can't have a video game without set pieces. And you have to make sure every moment could be something out of a Michael Bay film, no matter how ridiculous, extravagant, and nonsensical it is. There needs to be a lot of exhilaration, you see. And what better what to achieve that than with QTE?
THE MEAT GRINDER….I don't even know what to say about it. What in the world.
Really though, holy crap. I hadn't seen any of Resident Evil 6 before this, and now…I kind of want to play it. Like, yeah, sure, it looks horrible. Downright terrible. But it would be a morbid curiosity, an ironic playthrough of sorts.
Whoever thought these segments up probably shouldn't be working on triple-A games. It looks like they have a lot to learn still. Or maybe they're a genius? I can't tell.
