Maybe you missed it while it was going around in major cities–I did. Maybe you don't have Steam, or you weren't interested in paying ten dollars to view a documentary on games. That's fair. And maybe in spite of both these things, you're still interested in watching Indie Game: The Movie, the documentary that follows developer 'celebrities' like Phil Fish, Edmund McMillen, and Jonathan Blow.
Well, there's another way to watch the movie now. If you have Netflix instant, good news, Indie Game: The Movie is now available on the online streaming service. So if you already have Netflix, you don't have to pay anything extra than what you already do to watch it.
The documentary was released to much critical acclaim, many feeling that it truly captured what made games and game development special. Others thought it displayed a very specific type of game development which furthers the idea that the practice is only open for a certain type of person, making a certain type of game–when the reality is that the indie scene is much more diverse and has a ton of less visible voice.
Either way, you're now free to make up your mind on the movie here.
