NBA 2K13: How to Get a Gold Star on the Dribble Course and Earn a Lot of VC

October 3, 2012 by Alex Co

Want to know how to master the Dribble Course in NBA 2K13 and earn a ton of Virtual Currency?

In the video below, YouTube user ThatCoolBackGuy shows you how to earn a lot of Virtual Currency in NBA 2K13 by earning a gold star in the Dribble Course.

If you're unfamiliar with Virtual Currency (VC), it's just a renaming of Skill Points from last year's version. You need it in order to buy accessories for your player, attributes, stats for your player, etc. So, unless you're fine being a benchwarmer, you're going to want to earn a lot.

Now, bear in mind that the max you can get is 60 per challenge, unless there's some way in earning more, we still don't know it by now. The main thing to remember here is to spin against the cardboard defender blocking the path in order to get past him quickly. In last year's version, doing a stutter-step or something similar would do the trick but in 2K13, spinning is the best option…as you can see in the video below.

If you don't know how to do a spin-move, just rotate the right analog stick counter-clockwise in one motion. Think of it as spinning the player using your thumb…if that makes sense. Just bear in mind that where your player is holding the ball matters in spinning. So if he's holding the ball in his right hand, you'll want to rotate the stick from right to left.

There you have it. The tips we listed and the video should make you earn a gold star in the Dribble Course each and every time. That's an easy 60 VC for every challenge you complete.

Now go out there and earn your playing time, rookie.
