Fans of the early years of Sony’s PlayStation were given a real treat last year during the E3 expo. Activision unveiled a remastered collection of Sony’s iconic Crash Bandicoot character. The Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy offers a number of video game installments that originally appeared on the Sony PlayStation.
Originally unveiled during Sony’s E3 press briefing, there was plenty speculation that the title would be a Sony PlayStation 4 exclusive. However, that was not the case as eventually, a Sony Twitter representative revealed that the upcoming video game would be released on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles first.
This implies that the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy is a timed exclusive for the Sony PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro with the title releasing on other platforms in the future. Again, its speculated that the title would be launching on the PC platform as well and now thanks to another representative during PAX East, we now know that the title is launching for both PC and PlayStation 4.
While attendees of the PAX East expo were enjoying a demo of Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, a representative stated that the game would play in 4K and 60 frames per second for both the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
This comment was caught on camera and posted on Twitter which you can view right above. However, it doesn’t seem that Activision has made any comments on the matter just yet.
