Could Half-Life 3 really be happening? Now, I don't want to get everyone's hopes up, but this latest bit of news might mean just that.
Merle Dandridge, the actress portraying Alyx Vance, has just tweeted a picture of herself wearing full motion-capture gear! In addition to the image, she had this to say to accompany the image:
Lovely Vera opening last night. And a very mo cap mornin' to ya!
Of course, there's no indication that this is for Half-Life 3, but seeing as she is the voice of Alynx Vance, well, you can understand why people might be hyped in seeing this.
To add fuel to the fire even further, Ashley Johnson, who playes Ellie in The Last of Us, also posted the image on her Twitter with the following caption:
"Alyx Vance" #HL3 #insidescoop
Again, this is not a confirmation, but might just be enough to send Half-Life fans buzzing.
Half-Life 3 is, of course, the highly-anticipated next major entry in the Half-Life franchise made by Valve. It's last major numbered outing, Half-Life 2, was released way back in 2004. So it's quite understandable why fans will grasp at anything they can at this point.
Does this mean Half-Life 3 is really happening? One can hope, no?
