If you're going to be in Sydney from October 5th to 7th and would like to get some hands-on time with the Wii U, you might want to consider heading to EB Games Expo.
While the Wii U is set to launch in Australia and New Zealand on the 30th of November, EB Expo attendees can get their own preview of the anticipated console. Playable titles will include Assassin's Creed III, Batman Arkham City Armoured Edition, ZombiU, Just Dance 4, Darksiders II, New Super Mario Bros. U and Rayman Legends.
“EB Expo will be the first time gamers in Australia get hands on with Wii U," wrote Stephen Wilson, Managing Director of EB Games in a press release. "This has only been made possible due to the efforts of the world class team at Nintendo Australia”.
If the chance to get your mitts on the Wii U for a short time wasn't enough to tickle your fancy, you also have the chance to play the Wii U with Mario himself. Nintendo is bringing the voice of Mario, Charles Martinet, to the party where attendees will have the chance to play alongside him.
This is very exciting news for both attendees and EB Expo itself, which despite being in only it's second year has already become the biggest gaming convention in Australia. Having moved on from the Gold Coast, EB Expo will be taking place in Sydney's Olympic Park showgrounds this year — which means you can expect a bigger show than ever with over 22,000 tickets already sold and less than 1,000 remaining for the expo's daylight sessions.
Tickets can still be purchased from Ticketek, The EB Expo website or from EB Games retail stores.
