343 Industries has a new trailer for Halo 4 and it showcases the Promethean weapons that will be available in the game — or rather, it highlights the weapon's sounds, and they are a treat for your ears.
Seeing as Halo 4 is bringing in new enemy types that has new weapons, I think Halo fans might appreciate this more than usual.
The trailer shows the LightRifle, the Scattershot, the Suppressor, Boltshot, Incineration Cannon, and the Binary Rifle being used in the Solace and Complexe multiplayer maps. While I've yet to hear an actual futuristic alien gun shot in real-life, these sound fantastic. In addition to the sounds, we also get to see some of the weapons used as melee weapons.
Can these guns be your weapon of choice in multiplayer? They sure seem powerful enough to be, no?
You can continue the fight once Halo 4 ships on November 6, exclusively for the Xbox 360.
