EA has partnered with GameStop for yet another Medal of Honor Warfighter pre-order bonus. However, this won't include an exclusive map or weapon but just grant day one access to the SFOD-D Point Man class.
According to its developers at Danger Close, the SFOD-D Point Man is, "known for speed, surprise, and violence of action. The Point Man exemplifies this by assuming the inherent danger of placing himself in the first and most exposed position yet mitigates his risk with rapid speed, agility and extreme operational awareness."
If you want to see the class in action, EA has released a new trailer for that, too.
To be honest, I don't really see the appeal in giving this on day one. Isn't part of the fun of playing multiplayer on these games is leveling up and unlocking new stuff? Of course, people using the Point Man on the first day of release could catch a lot of people off guard and bump their stats up a notch.
Don't forget, pre-ordering Medal of Honor will also give you access to Battlefield 4's beta for next year. which is a better pre-order incentive than this, to be honest.
Medal of Honor Warfighter is scheduled to ship on October 23 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
