Yes, we're parched for any Grand Theft Auto V news; and Rockstar hasn't exactly been forthcoming with them. In saying that, a user by the name of xhi4 in Grand Theft Auto fansite GTAForums, speculates why Rockstar has seemingly shown us three cities in the screenshots and trailer they've released so far.
Now, I'm not saying he's right but what he does state does make sense. It's up to you to decide if you want to believe them or not.
In the trailer, you can see that the cars are going to Interstate 5 – Los Puerta Freeway; which refers to the real-life Interstate 5 that connects Los Angeles to San Francisco and the rest of the West Coast. Also of note, the sign says "north" and San Francisco is north of L.A….a coincidence? I think not.
Xhi4 states that in a nutshell, he believes Rockstar showed this purposely to subtly hint that there is more to come.
Rockstar has already showed us screenshots of flying vehicles, so does that mean there will be airports in GTA V, too? Well, here's xhi4's reasoning for it.
Even in San Andreas they had to have an airport for the planes, multiple airports in fact. Did you see how freaking fast that Jet was in the trailer? If that plane is going to be zipping around that fast just for one city. What's going to happen? After the vineyards and huge mountain, you immediately start flying over water? I don't think so…
Also, R* have previously stated that there is no point in having planes for one city, especially with realistic planes….
Next up, we have another screenshot and it might hint at another area of Grand Theft Auto V as well.
Looking at the leftmost side of the scren, it seems it alludes to a desert of some kind and further proof (?) that Grand Theft Auto V will have more than one city in the game.

Do you think his ideas have merit to them or is he just clutching at straws? Hopefully, Rockstar released actual info soon so we don't have to grope in the dark, no?
