If you're a Halo fan, then you probably already know that Halo 4 is out on November 6th. The good news is that the game is already 99% complete – nearly a month and a half ahead.
"It's just sort of getting it in shape for certification and then manufacture," Halo franchise director Frank O'Connor said, speaking to Giant Bomb. "And then just cleaning out last minute bugs and getting ready for launch."
The game is the direct sequel to Halo 3, occurring four years after the last game. It is also the first game made outside of Bungie Studios after the company signed a 10 year exclusive publishing agreement with Activision back in April 2010.
Halo 4 is also the first of the new Reclaimer trilogy, with two more Halo games in the works. These two games are thought to be occurring on Microsoft's follow up console to the Xbox 360 since the company is openly hiring staff to "help create the current and next generation of game visuals in the Halo universe."
